Swimming Carnivals 2025
College Carnival – Friday, 7th February 2025, at the Noosa Aquatic Centre (NAC). (Week 2, Term 1)
Regional Carnival – Monday, 10th March 2025, venue to be confirmed. (Week 7, Term 1)
As there is no North District Swimming Carnival, students will need to nominate themselves to attend the Regional Swimming Carnival in 2025. Please see the flyer below which outlines the nomination process. Nomination packs will be available to collect early Term 1 from the Sports Shack. Online nominations to attend Regionals close on the 17th of February 2025.
PROCESS FOR REGIONAL SELECTION:
The Sunshine Coast School Sport Swimming trials will be a ‘direct-to-region’ event for secondary students aged 12-19 years in Grades 7 to 12. The following table outlines the criteria for selection. Students are required to complete the online nomination process if they wish to attend the regional swimming trials or nominate for selection in non-conducted events.
Students completing an online nomination are to meet the criteria outlined below, then scan the QR code or click on the link to complete the process.
CRITERIA FOR SELECTION

The qualifying standards for Regionals and State Championships for all swimmers can be found HERE.
The Regional trial notice, student and parent code of conduct, absentee application for exemption form and the order of events can be found HERE.
Nominations for the Regional Swimming Carnival close on Monday the 17th of February. Late nominations will not be accepted.
