​​​​​​​​​​​DANCE TROUPE 

In the after-school Dance Troupe rehearsals students develop performance skills and confidence in exploring challenging and innovative choreography. Entry is via audition and a variety of groups are offered through the year catering to different levels of ability. With the privilege of membership in our dance troupe and in order for us to work towards a standard of excellence, comes the commitment to consistent attendance, rehearsal and participation in all performances (festivals, eisteddfods, in-school and showcase events).


REHEARSALS

Junior (Grade 7-9) - ​Mondays 2.30-4.00pm 

​Senior (Grade 10-12 plus any Juniors in Senior) - Wednesday 2.30-4.00pm

Extension Troupes - Rehearsals TBC​

COST - The cost to be in Dance Troupe is $450 per annum. 

This is inclusive of all competitions, dancer passes, rehearsals, showcases and costumes throughout the year. This is a non refundable fee. 

COMPETITION DATES 2024:

  • Sunshine Coast Dance Eisteddfod (SCDE) = 14th, 15th & 16th May @ The Events Centre Caloundra (Week 4, Term 2)
  • BPAC = May or June (date tbc) @ Riverlife Baptist Church Brisbane
  • Pinnacle Dance Challenge = 26th & 27th July @ St Teresa’s Catholic College (Week 2, Term 3)
  • Beenleigh = July or August (date tbc) @ Logan Entertainment Centre​

Additional  dates will be added as they become available. 


OTHER EVENTS :

Arts Showcase = Thursday 4th September, Week 8 Term 4 2025 

Dance Night = Wednesday 22nd October, Week 3 Term 4 2025
