The St Teresa's Family
From their first day at St Teresa's, your child is welcomed into their family away from home. The spirit of the College is that of a family that provides a safe and positive learning environment.
Ministry
As a Catholic College, Ministry is interwoven into daily life in ways that teenagers can connect with and respond to. Our Vision is that of an authentic Christian community where Gospel values are evident and lived out in relationships and practices between students, staff and parents. From daily morning prayer in House Groups, whole College Masses and Liturgies to Reflection days and retreats, the objectives for our students are for them to combine a loving heart and a strong mind to recognize their own infinite potential.
Learning
Inspiring a lifelong love of learning is at the core of all we do. Every student at the College creates an Individual Career Pathway (ICP) that provides a platform for students to meaningfully and actively engage in their learning. Years 7 – 10 students undertake a Capable Learners Program providing evidence-based strategies to approach their education. Along with preparing students academically to achieve their goals, our senior school program sets students up for success beyond high school.
Wellbeing
Wellbeing is fundamental to successful learning at St Teresa's. Every staff member and student contributes to the experience of education, and the wellbeing of all is paramount. At St Teresa's we actively and strategically construct environments and experiences to promote 'feeling good about me and my relationships' as well as a sense of meaning, purpose and growth.
